Pretty fuckin cool honestly. I ain't played this game in a minute but I like that the cast is diverse as fuck. Plus it has my top two favorite Pokemon in it so it's an instant win in my book.

it was cool at launch but as more and more time goes on it just got shittier and shittier
the past year has been nothing but shillmons outside of Comfey, and not even cool ones either as we got several gen 8 uglies, TWO Mewtwos, the worst new starter and more shitty boring Eevees

Utterly disappointed in the starter choice, other than the obligatory KANTOOOO trio everything other starter choice with like the exception of one is based of speed in a game that is supposed to have several role archetypes. I hate it.

I gotta give them props for implementing Dodrio, Ageislash, and Comfey the way they did, genuinely soVlful surprising from chinks.
Even minor gimmick mons like split evolution Scizor and Mew that can freely shuffle between the games most impactful moves are appreciated.
Now the bad, it has way too many humanoid mons and eveelutions.

considering we have a bunch of pokemon that could mega-evolve but don't, its 50/50 I'd say. Though, I do think a Pokemon that doesn't evolve normally has a much better chance of mega-evolving as a gimmick.

I can appreciate them trying to add a lot of the eeveelutions, makes eevee itself feel unique in the game. The only problem is that it just feels like kind of a wet dud whenever one gets announced.
