>>54524196To IGN and other professional review sources, this is just bandwagoning, they find someone on their staff critical of Pokémon and intentionally put them on it because since last November, hating on Pokémon games is the trend.
To Nintendo and GF, this is a sign that shit needs to change. While their sales aren't massively hurt now, it could sow bad faith and reduce the sales for the next game. They've handled the situation really poorly and I hope Indigo Disk gets thrown under the bus, too, just to show them that empty lip service means jack shit. Only when their reputation with normies is in tatters and their profit margin is threatened will they actually make a positive change, and even though they'll see the need to change soon enough, it's probably too late to change course for the next 2 releases unless they see the situation as dire enough to scrap their plans entirely.
Even if things don't change, I'm glad that even the most brainrotted pleb tier normies are realizing how shit the games are, like we've been saying for the past 10 years. I feel almost vindicated when I've been chastised for even caring in the past, I don't even care that it's just a flavor of the month take for people to hate on them.
