>>54527025>They're just as bad as the ChineseI attended Worlds this year. It was a logistic disaster. They underestimated the amount of japs trying to enter the side events and as a result a lot of westerners who traveled in groups -each competitor had another 2 spectator badges to give- ended without anything to do but sit and look the ceiling. For those not competing it was a glorified tcg and merchandising marketplace - it was all about sneaking into the pokecenter with your competitor pal, hoarding merchandise and selling it at 10x the price to desperate japs who weren't fortunate to know a player.
Also since large tournaments in this stupid game can't be played wireless because of how badly made it is, they had to purchase a large stock of alternate docks with LAN connectors, but not all of them arrived in time and because of that they had to suspend the Open which was supposed to be the biggest side tournament.
Consoomers cheered at the end but not even TPCi -which is the american brand- was happy with how poorly TPC conducted the event. I don't think there will be another Worlds in a long, long time.
