Interesting, I'm of a similar opinion. I wouldn't say I hate the DLC though, just very disappointed by it considering it costs 35$ and offers little for that higher price point. I enjoyed base SV.

Teal Mask is literally only half (more than likely less than half, depending on if the ratio of content from TM to ID is similar to IoA to CT) of the total sum of what you paid for.

Who cares? I personally thought SV was a big step up from SWSH (for the most part), and the DLC is (mostly) a continuation of that for me. My biggest gripe continues to be the lack of variety in single-player postgame content; Teal Mask does little to nothing to address this. Battle facilities (assuming we gain the option to skip animations) and new ribbon/mark grinds are bare minimum inclusions.

Mostly overblown. The games look like shit, but I’ve not experienced most of the issues on my original model Switch. The bigger issue is that there is very little to do outside of story (Game Freak’s admitted focus…for some reason).

IoA's story was dogshit and I say this as someone who really liked it and thought it was a massive step up from base SwSh in terms of gameplay (in most areas).
Klara/Avery are standouts, but past that every other character is either nonexistant or boring and you spend so little time with Kubfu before having to evolve it for the plot that it's hard to get attached to either it OR Urshifu, which is really bad when the entirely of the story revolved around it by proxy of it being the "secret armor" everyone was doing the challenges for.
