Can anyone in actual good faith explain to me how Cynthia Mega Evolving her Garchomp cause her to have a land slide win against Ash? Based on it's actual feats in the anime? "Full power" this and that but I need details and explanations

She likely wouldn't have because shitneys ash plot armor > everything, but because she didn't use Mega Garchomp, and there will forever be a "what if" lingering in the air.

In fact, this fight is the only one single time we've seen Garchomp be truly damaged. Ever.
All other aces had been shown to be damaged or defeated before the M8 happened.

Furthermore...

Cynthia didn't use the two gimmicks in her possession therefore she didn't fight at her full power. It's extremely self-explanatory.

They wanted the fights to be evenly matched and the victories to be close and circumstantial, except with Leon, where they really wanted to communicate to the audience that he was the most powerful by far over the rest of the champions, that's why Leon bestially humiliated Alain and Diantha.

Mega Lucario would have beaten non-dynamaxed Togekiss pretty quickly with a few bullet punches (especially if it didnt have its speed boosts) then gone in fresh with full aura boost to beat damaged megachomp after a tough battle.

Cynthia played the right move to get lucario to use up its aura boost first and tire it out with dynakiss before sending out chomp whivh almost gave her the win.

Because she fought newb Paul, Eiltie For Flint, newb Iris and was basically about to get has ass thrown to her with Caitlin.

Ash is the MC, so he still defeats Mega+Dyna full power Cynthia, but he now needs all 4 of his power-ups to do so. Instead of the two that he used in the episodes.

This makes Cynthia the second strongest trainer in anime, after Ash.
Leon cannot stand up to multiple gimmicks, as was shown already.

so Cynthia cant beat Ash, but she is next best thing in the anime.
Also in general MegaChomp > DynaKiss, as ace > not ace.

That entire tournament is so full of asspulls, plot armor, terrible writing and character just winning because the plot said they had to win it's pretty meaningless to find any "feats" in it. Why do people obsess over this garbage so much?
