Shiny hunting is too easy in these games.

I think Legends was challenging without being tedious.

i honestly think the old 8000s rate would have suited much better here, simply because there's such a high density of encounters it makes the 4000 feel way more common

Shiny hunting shouldn't be a thing. Every player should be guaranteed 1 shiny per playthrough and no more. Gamefreak are actively harming autistic kids.

You kidding? It was so easy in PLA, you literally just run/fly around until you hear the sound and/or see the shiny effect. In SV you actually have to look closely, or straight up fight the mon if it's a subtle shiny.

Someone remind me, do randomly-encountered shinies stick around from soft resetting? I have a shiny Swadloon I just randomly found and want to put in a Friend Ball, but I only have one Friend Ball.

Yeah, you can save and reload in front of a shiny and it'll still be there. It'll take a moment to load back in upon reset though, I remember resetting to get a shiny Rotom in a Beast Ball.

Also like two minutes later as I was catching a Polchageist this fucking appeared. And I found a shiny Wooper earlier too. The shiny rate is nuts.

Reminder that you probably missed tons of shinies because
>they are small and/or have very subtle shinies
>they spawned in the fucking wall and you had no chance to even see it
>it spawned just off-screen and you didn't see it cause you were zooming past it
