>>54540648>Gen 3 is my favourite gen of mons as well.Agreed, not enough people praise hoenn for its pokemon imo. The map design is great and all, but what really makes me love the games is the great selection of mons to use. I don't know why but for some reason the hoenn games, moreso than any other early gen pokemon game, feel like they're brimming with team options that I actually wanna use. Even the ones on the weaker side, like Spinda, Sabeleye, Volbeat, etc, feel fun to use in their own way, and they're actually pretty balanced for in-game fights.
