The Kieran stuff in Indigo Disk probably happens after you complete the BB League storyline. The DLC is designed so you can go to Kitakami or the other location as soon as you start the treasure hunt, but the final storyline where you return to Area Zero requires that the main story and the two DLC areas have all been completed.
