Is it finally the time to bring in fungi type? Fungi are closer to animals than plants, and they can't even photosynthesize. Therefore they can't be Grass type. Why is GF so afraid of it?

Anon, the question you have to ask yourself instead is: what would it fix in the current type chart? If it doesn't fix anything, then there is no reason to introduce Fungi type and the same can be said for any other new type that wouldn't balance anything.
