As much as I would be among the mob to start raging if they stood their ground, it probably is the better decision in the long run for everyone.

They're only doing this so people won't leave in droves. But the people who stay would be more of their kind who act like this, and those who leave will be the more sane individuals who have not been brainrotted by tranitter, who would likely go on to make their own site or occupy another.

In practice, as the type who would kick people off-site for things they do off-site, and prioritize that over their own popularity apparently, they wouldn't mind the competition, since that's where the "toxic nazi incels" are anyways.
