Sure getting Silver symbols is fine, but getting gold symbols is the biggest kick in the dick I've ever experienced. The insane win streak requirement just means you end up playing a faggy game of Latios Metagross Swampert 90%+ of the time. Doing anything else would just be a waste of time because you're opening yourself up to even the smallest possibility of getting fucked. Even then doesn't matter when the game decides my entire opponent team will use Mirror coat, or will run quick claw Guillotine, or quick claw explosion (don't forget you lose if you end the battle via explosion, but the enemy wins if they end the battle via explosion). It's so fucking annoying.
And this doesn't even take into account bullshit like the Battle Palace or Battle Pike, or the fact Battle Factory is bugged so that you gimp yourself by swapping pokemon. I'm convinced the people that jerk off the Emerald Frontier the most either haven't really played it, or at the very least stopped at the silver symbols. Too bad you have to grind it anyways if you want the move tutors or held items there. Platinum BF was much better.
