Every single pokemon released in the gen 8 and 9 is a shillmon, as those only were solely created for marketing purposes in mind to appeal to the unthinking masses, not with soul.

Kanto mons aren't shillmons, they are liked enough to be iconic. Meanwhile, in this case, you are "forced" to like these Pokemons, in the sense that these are shoved in your face, with the sole purpose of making you remember them.
Think about Glimora for example
Glimora is a Pokemon that isn't mean to be an attractive concept on it's own, but

Why would new mons not get new mechanics? What's the point of making new gens if they can't feel new?
Besides, old Pokemon get updates too sometimes, Torkoal, Pelipper and Gigalith got weather abilities in gen 7, Weezing got Neutralizing Gas, Shiftry got Wind Rider, and so on.

Don't be retarded. There weren't shillmons until Gen 7.for that sake, original variants of Pokemon don't count as shillmon, neither megas. Only their regional variants and gigantamax forms are shillmons.
