>>54576997I know following a conversation with more than two sentences can be difficult, so bear with me.
The key aspect of that splinter discussion was Gastrodon being a shitmon.
Cynthia has a Gastrodon on her team, that is in the running for qualifying is a Gogoat-tier shitmon.
Another anon had an experience in which Gastrodon did very well against her team, more out of irony than a real defense of Gastrodon, as best I can tell.
Then it was pointed out that Gastrodon doing well against Cynthia isn't really a good defense of Gastrodon's quality, because Cynthia's team is mostly narrowly specialized, and Gastrodon falls outside the specialization.
Thus. Gastrodon is a gogoat-tier shitmon, and Cynthia has one on her team.
The idea of Cynthia being easy or hard isn't directly relevant to the conversation, but is indirectly relevant as a metric by which Gastrodon is being inspected as a possible shitmon. The fact that Cynthia is the metric is unrelated to it being on her team, except by the irony that she had one, ditched it, and struggled against anoj using one.
Are you caught up? Do you need this broken down even more?
It's not about champions being easy or hard, this is about Cynthia being a metric for Gastrodon being a shitmon, unrelated to her previously owning one.
And the case is, doing well against Cynthia isn't a huge mark in favor of not being a shitmon, because generally speaking, any pokemon that isn't part of the core Cynthia's team fucks does very well against her.
