This was possibly the best final boss in a Pokemon game ever, both narratively and gameplay wise.
>the cutscene before the match showing the master ball being dropped into the professor's hand mid catch
>fighting a professor for the first time in the series history, memories of the unused Oak fight from RGB kick in
>fighting a ROBOT professor
>facing Pokemon you don't even know the types of yet (especially in Violet)
>the killer music, best fight music in the game by far
>the best looking battle area in the game
>the reverberance making the Pokemon cries echo everywhere
>Iron Valiant/Roaring moon shows up
>holy goddamn!
>you think you've beat them
>it'snotover.jpg
>"AI professor has no intention of fighting you"
>"You are challanged by the Paradise Protection Protocol!"
>Last mon
>of course they have the Raidon
>Can't use any Pokemon
>You realize the only mon without the ID is YOUR Raidon
>your Raidon friend can finally be used, has the confidence to face it head on
>OHSHIT.png
>triumphant ass music
>enemy Raidon uses taunt, so you can only attack
>your Raidon barely does damage to the other one
>enemy Raidon starts wailing on you and boosting stats
>taunt finally ends just as it's about to throw a huge attack
>use endure, with one HP left
>Tera Orb glow
>Terastalize and tera blast the fuck out of that bitch-ass fraud, instantly killing it
>supernut.gif
>the bittersweet conclusion to the AI professor and Arven arc.
>"not everything is fixed in the world, but we can manage" type of feelings as the party walks home.
>you've made a goonies-esque friend group of some of the best Pokemon NPCs.
Unoptimization be damned. despite all the buggy shit in this game, they did a good job with the Area Zero area in general.
