in my opinion, it should get an evolution with more atk stats, more speed stats, more defense and special defense

They try not to do things like that too much because eviolite exists.
It tends to make anything that gets an evolution more powerful than the evolution itself.

That's stretching the definition of a stone evolution. It's a held item evolution. It was also added after Blissey.
