At least there's something vaguely interesting going on with Flint (Volkner's buddy), Bertha (Charm's descendant and Agatha's relative), and Lucian (a bishounen bookworm), but Aaron is apparently just a Bug Catcher that became a Gym Leader and then became a member of the Elite 4. He has nothing going for him other than that he's some guy who just loves bugs. At least Bugsy is the same way but he's a nerdy little "boy scout" kind of character. Aaron is the most generic out of all of them, if not the most generic Elite 4 Trainer in the series.
