Only Pokémon gen I’ve ever skipped. Dynamax looked so retarded I refused to partake.
I can handle bad Pokémon designs, I can wave away a horrible story, I can overlook a mediocre world design or bugs, my standards are on the floor and that makes me a tard, yes, but I cannot overlook a gimmick that is that retarded looking.
Megas looked awful, but some were alright looking. I could choose to ignore them since most new Pokémon didn’t have them.
Z moves were retarded but I just ignored them. Most trainers never use them.
Terra hats are fucking stupid, but the concept itself is neat.
Dynamax was retarded and boring. Oooh the Pokémon gets big with an ugly red filter. It’s also just an illusion or something. Here, fight this giant shitmon, this is cool right? It doesn’t look retarded at all!
