>>54590908Depends on if the designs are good or not and other factors, like if the game is actually fucking AWESOME to play and manages to fix old and chronic issues with the games and still has old Pokémon available for use and to fight against alongside the new ones i wouldn't let it kill my enjoyment, especially if it was a Kalos situation where there were barely any new Pokémon anyway.
Besides, Pokémon is old as fuck "Fans" designing pokémon is a inevitability due just how widespread the popularity was back in the day, the best thing we can really hope for in that regard is that it doesn't end up a clusterfuck of Fanjacking like the western comicbook industry where characters that have fans of the current generation get killed of because writers of a previous generation are fans of a older character and hate that character and such.
