When I got my first Poke game ORAS, I initially wanted Torchic, but I also wanted to mimick the anime moment where May got Squirtle'd by a Mudkip. Truth be told, I was disappointed that I stuck with Mudkip, but it's fine; Swampert was kino. It also took me a while to figure out that you're not supposed to faint the Pokemon to catch it (thanks Wally).

My cousin and I did Pokemon rps, and that's how I became Youngster Joey throughout the entire 8th grade.

And finally, for a short time I worked with a friend of mine to create a fan Pokemon region based on Greece. I did the stats and typings, while he did the designs. I had an envision for the anime where Ash grows up into a badass teenage Pokemon master and was a fugitive.
