I, for example, do not care for Battle Mode in Mario Kart, but I really like Time Trial Mode. My sons do not care for Time Trial Mode, but they'll spend hours driving around and shooting shells at each other in Battle Mode. If we went with your mentality, only one of those modes would exist, because only one is "fun," but obviously that would make the game worse overall because fewer people would be able to get fun from it. It's the same thing here. You really like the Exp Share. I do not. Adding a toggle into the game would make the game more fun for me, without lowering the fun for you, because you'd still have the Exp Share, but now I wouldn't. Do you understand how different people can have different opinions? To give you another, more simple example; inside the refrigerator in the grocery store is both white milk and chocolate milk. Obviously one tastes better, but the store sells both, right? It's because different people like different tastes. Not everyone is the same as you.
