I prefer their genuine silhouettes and body proportions with time, but the loss of biological detail over time is an annoying one. Krook doesnt get any osteoderms and has more simplistic eyes, Skeledirge lacks proper 3D nostrils and has far less sensible teeth.
That being said Feraligatr was FUCKED in the transition to 3D, where he was a victem of the enwidening process that ruined Aggron and many other mon as well.

I don't mind feraligatr very much, and krookodile can look retarded but other times cool depending on how they proportion him, woth picrel being an example of good. But god damn is skeledirge such a disappointment, I was so hype for a fire/ghost crocodile only to get the clown with a stupid bird and singing gimmick that looks like it had ghost type just slapped on at the last second.
