>>54614705I got deep into researching the PCNY event pokemon recently, there was a lot of neat stuff given out from gens 2 and 3. Gen 2 distributed a lot of random eggs with high shiny rates, and almost all of them had unique egg moves (some had moves that are still entirely exclusive to those distributions, like Sharpen Onix or Low Kick Doduo).
They even had a celebi distribution that had like a 1% chance of giving a shiny Celebi and a 0.5% chance for a shiny mew, which must have been insane to get at the time.
I envy anyone who got to visit the New York Pokemon Center as a kid and get something from this machine, it seems like it would have been a great experience.
