>>54622135>It may also involve the Greek word τέρας (téras), meaning "monster,"It’s definitely including this, because Terra is a different spelling, and is actually Latin in origin, which would not likely be he inspiration for a seemingly Greek, or at least Atlantis, themed Area Zero.
It also means four, as it’s fourth in line behind the other three gimmicks we have, which reinforces my reasoning for it being “Teras” connected to “Monster”.
Teratology is an interesting frame of reference for the Paradox Pokémon and their existence, as it’s the study of birth defects and abnormalities that resulted from the study of genetic abnormalities that seemed so extraordinary they were considered ‘marvels’.
You could say the creation of Paradox Pokémon could be the result of teratogenesis, via Tera Energy, much like ionizing radiation nag like X-Rays can eventually cause birth defects to develop. It’s purposeful in this case, to bring about Paradox Pokémon that are enhanced though, rather then weakened by this energy.
This is all just a theory, but it makes the most sense to me, without the explanation having to be Time Travel or Imagination, but rather a purposeful creation of these Pokémon, for that of which we do not know yet.
