why is Walking Wake so much better than the other paradox mons?

Walking Wake feels like a new pokemon but the others for the most part feel like an afterthought. they're almost no different than regional variants. they could have at least tried basing the mons on a wide variety of prehistoric animals instead of just giving everything skin teeth and red eye liner and then calling it a day. Great Tusk could have been a good chance to make a wooly mammoth mon and they didn't even do that
