Emmet turns away for a minute and he comes back to a half-wilted, pathetic looking Grass-type. He can take good care of Pokemon, but this is ridiculous. At least it's just for a day, right? As for last thread's question (I forgot to answer) I assume he celebrates it with Ingo since they kinda share the birthday, but then Ingo goes missing and assuming Emmet wasn't yoinked somewhere too, he probably just eats an entire cake with nobody around to tell him no... Or he goes through the motions but isn't feeling it without Ingo there to also blow out the cake's candles. The Depot Agents are supportive, at least. His coworkers give him something to smile about.

It gets weird otherwise. I feel like he isn't inclined to use nicknames but maybe he uses something slightly cringe like "cutie".
