The horror aspect of Kirby games is played up to such a ridiculous level by the rest of the internet that I can't tell if it's ironic or not.

Personally, the only Kirby game that's ever "scared" me was Dreamland 2 because of the bad ending, and Canvas Curse. I was also a lot younger when I played the first one, so that might have a lot to do with it.
