First starter after my return to the franchise and Sinnoh overall has probably the last batch of starters where all three look equally hardcore and an even match for one another. There's a sense of effortless power to all three, no forced "coolness" like Greninja etc.
Never got into Sinnoh anime but Barry is a cool rival and in the cartoon seems like a lovable goofball so it doesn't hurt he has one too.
