Honestly would've preferred this. I don't hate Rillaboom, but its just kinda boring/uninteresting. And yeah the drum feels forced.
But Zarude's body physically matches Thwacky's and the vine around its forarms could resemble maracas.
Not to mention they look like something a punk would wear, matching Zarude's typing and Thwacky's mohawk.
I'm rambling here and probably don't make a ton of sense.
In the end I think it could easily fit in with the punk music aesthetic of Thwacky and Grookey.
