3) Talking openly about what was said to you in private is more than a faux pas, it's passive aggressive and weak. I dare say it's not a normal reaction.
4) It's not normal to be involved in the OU council by definition. It's a small group.
5) A message is just about the most mild reaction possible, short of saying nothing at all or making an upset post on Smogon like everybody else.
6) Public figures are often contacted and this should not be unexpected for something as niche and direct as Smogon.
7) Appealing to terms like "seek professional help" is indicative of his inability to properly respond to this person as an individual.
He can take all seven of those sins to his next Talmud reading and revel in how he once again got one over on the goyim.
