why are the native galarian mons so unpopular in galar?
even some semi popular ones like duraludon thanks to his trainer originate from unova ratherthan galar as proven by archaludon.

There's more than one duraludon in-universe.
Not to mention pokemon can appear in a different region than the one they originate from.

You need to learn the basics of the lore before asking these questions.

Because even the subhuman Gala'ian people recognize that there was not a single pokemon introduced in gen 8 that was salvagable. All of their best mons are either from Kanto or recolors of things from Kanto.

Shitposting aside, these Anons are correct. Machop, Gastly, and Duraludon have always been present in Galar, or have been there for so long that they have become naturalized species. Pokemon are not strictly bound to the regions they are introduced alongside. Thinking about it, the only Pokemon that "rule" might apply to are certain Regional Forms and Evolutions.
