Birds literally have their own languages and regional dialects, sometimes even borrowing "words" from the calls of other species they live near and adopting it to their lexicon. They can teach other birds "that human is a bad person" and pass that information down to their children to avoid (or terrorize) a specific person rather than humans in general. Crows and ravens are especially known for tormenting people who have wronged them.
Hell, we have orcas currently capsizing ships because a fishing boat killed one of them. They're literally teaching their children to do it now. Like literally the parent shows them and instructs/watches their children ram into boats. They didn't before, but it's obviously a retaliation thing now.
