>>54670085>not when the games that came after it don't even allow you to catch all the monsThat should tell you how bad gen 7 was that SS is generally considered better. The amount of unnecessary removals gen 7 had was ridiculous and despite SS being linear in and of itself the Wild Areas provided some kind of exploration.
It was also very light on content with SM only having the Royal, Tree and that photo thing USM only added Mantine Surf and the agency and that's it.
>this is no different than SVClearly you didn't read the part that said "as a game" that means disregarding the flaws of each to see its merits.
>SV has no replayable contentHave you not played it?
>star leader rematches>star auto battles>4 gym test "hard mode" repeats>ace tournament>Tera raidsThat's just the base game SS only has
>tower>Dynamax raids>Galarian star tournament>champion cup rematch>restricted sparring>Dynamax adventuresSo SV is already coming out on top and that's not even going into things like Ogre Oustin and that flying minigame they're going to add the Indigo Disk.
>SS had shit designs but SV is even worse with things like maushold, gholdengo, palafin, and the paradox monsEven if you don't like them they make up a fraction of the dex, compared to SS which was the opposite where mon like blipbug, the fossils, greedent, inteleon, stonjourner, carkol, obstagoon, copperajah, Calyrex, boltund you get the picture, they're all awful designs.
>or fur suit trash like obstagoonIronic considering that was the majority of cross gen evos in gen 4, literal fat ugly furshit like electivire, lickilicky, rhyperior, tangrowth, mamoswine, dusknoir. They were so bad that GF immediately made evolite in gen 5 and megas in gen 6 to rectify it.
It wasn't until last year that we had a new true cross gen evo that wasn't eevee because they weren't confident in doing so after the reaction to the abysmal gen 4 ones.
