Which trio do you think works best?

Turkey inspired region. Emboar's design is already finalized, just not sure about the other two.

Chestnaught or Sceptile will become a Byzantine knight.

Quaquaval will become a Sufi dancer.

Emboar is a sultan.

Originally wanted all three to be inspired by important figures in Turkish history (Suleiman the Magnificent, Rumi the poet, Dragut the commander). That would mean making either Greninja or Quaquaval inspired by Dragut, leaving the Grass-type to be another starter based on Rumi, but can't think of who could fit that role.

I am becoming autistic about this. On the one hand, Chespin, Tepig, and Quaxly works nice and easy as they fit the themes I initally planned out. On the other hand, basing them all on significant Turkish figures is an awesome idea I can't seem to get working. There is also the thing about their original forms all being part Fighting-type, which annoys me a bit, but not too much. Treecko, Tepig and Quaxly would be nice because they all come from the three different continents Pokémon uses (Asia, America and Europe), and Turkey was always known as the crossroads of the world, a melting pot of cultures. It would be a great way to show the influence of the region. But I hate Treecko's Gen 3 artwork because it's dated and looks out of place with the other two (here I used the ORAS artwork to make it fairer, but this wouldn't be used in "official" promo). But then, using Treecko makes it more spread out across generations (3, 5 and 9, as opposed to 6, 5 and 9) which is better to me as there will be something for all ages to look forward to.

What do you think?
