With Gen 6 being 10 years old, it makes me a bit sad that the animated series fumbled so hard at the very last minute. Like the XY games or with Pokémon Go, I remember casual fans coming back and getting invested again. But then Ash lost, and now he’s gone forever. This team won’t have a chance to come back like Charizard or Sceptile did in past years. And unlike Infernape and the Sinnoh team, they didn’t have their big win.
