>>54675898RB is just such a great little RPG. It has dungeons and secrets and everything feels fresh and not tied down to expectations or any type of gameplay forumla. They don't waste your time either, the animations and menus are snappy as fuck for the most part. It may be flawed in the battle system in some ways, but its such a great RPG on its own. I have really grown to appreciate gen 1 lately.
I love RSE too, and I think its a great adventure, but its more like a theme park than an RPG to get lost inside. They're both fun though, both have great exploration.
