>To be honest it just feels like they designed the game to appeal to comp fags rather than preserve the rpg feelMost of the stuff they added was already in Renegade Platinum, and the stuff that wasn't is designed to skip pointless grinding and make getting the teams you want to use easier and smoother so you can focus on progressing through the game instead of waiting for the internal clock for something to happen or slowly grinding up new team members or doing mini-games for shards so you can get that one move you need, and so on. Making the game smoother to replay benefits not just comp fags but nuzlockers, challenge runners, and just casual playthroughs as well since it allows you to try out different teams easily.
