ok cool but unless the mod has any combination of skarmory, talonflame, staraptor, noivern, corviknight, volcarona, flygon, hisuian braviary, dragapult, salamence, hydreigon, dragonite, charizard, or gyarados as usable flymons outside of battle by the time the /vp/ixelmon threads start being made, I’m not going to play

Well, before 1.4, they were releasing updates every few months. This one took abnormally long due to the sheer size of it, so maybe we'll see 1.5 add flymons by 2024. Only thing that's confirmed AFAIK is fossils.

not wrong on the other points though, afaik there are progresses being made towards most if not all of those but it'll be a while before it's close to content complete

Because its too early for the mod. The "big" update was: Berries, berry farming, potion making, some missing pokemon (and still missing a lot) and that's it.
And that took like, 6 months.
