I once played a "not-pokemon we swear" game, I think it was a real game you bought with cash too, even though it looked like an hgss rom-hack. It wasn't any interesting and I stopped playing it because it had too many niggers.
Anyway, the interesting thing about it is that it had move types and pokemon types be separate. There were MOVE types that pokemon couldn't be. Or maybe only very limited pokemon could even be those types, like legends and pseudos.
I don't remember much but I think Nuclear was a type? Sound definitely was. Some weird ones like "Light" and "Force" were there too.
It's a cool idea if you're fanfiction-ing some new types. Types that exist only as moves could be a cool idea. The defensive part of the type being accessed close to never would be interesting for balancing.
Also bonus points for anyone who can identify the game. Because I don't remember it.
