I think I agree. All Pokemon games are dogshit that I would never play beyond the second gym but at least SM have cute girls. Maybe that’s why it’s my favorite.

I like to play them and really crave to start a new playthough on the games I skipped (BW2, USUM), but I won't because they still cost as much as they did on release, if not more.

alola is one of the coolest regions but the games are abysmally bad with zero replay value (inb4 pedophiles and their hurr durr lillie), hau alone makes me prefer death over replaying them

I like playing, but the base games are too easy to get into and the romhacks of their games turn the difficulty up to the point of making it tedious. at this point I can only enjoy the games if I gimp myself into using shitmons or doing monotype runs

SM/USUM had some really great monster designs and the setting was KINO, but it's bogged down by the garbage story, the first 4 hours being a tutorial, and unskippable cutscenes.
