Just speaking for myself, But pokemon is dead, while it is still on its "peak" of the franchise.
There are too much spinoffs, mobile games, merch and shit, while the core games get worse and worse. No challenges, no offline coop like battle tower Multis, Features no one asked for that get remove in the next gen.
After D/P pokemon just got worse.
I hatred B/W, when they came out, But compared to the New shit B/W was a blessing.
Just lurking here and playing romhacks and sometimes Pokemon Go with my daughter.
Im so glad I was a Kid when the old games (that also had some issues) were released
