Meow is fine. The base form of the owl definitely needs a rework though. I don't care that it's slow but it definitely needs access to more priority attacks or at least ways to cripple an opponent as a good archer archetype should. I think the Hisuian form getting a way to up its crit ratio while doing damage was a step in the right direction, and honestly the base form should get access to Triple Arrows too.

>fuck, maybe even give it a unique Shed Tail clone if everything else gets broken shit except instead of switching you put up the Sub and then buff your accuracy and defense
>give it back access to Laser Focus I guess? And if it doesn't get Roost or Leech Seed or Confide, give it those moves

There. Now it can be a "mixed attacker" support that can do a lot of constant priority, self buffing and all that shit.

I'm partial to a move that makes your next attack always have priority. I'm surprised that doesn't exist yet. Call it something like "Get Ready" or a similar sounding phrase

Meow being Gren-like is alright, but Owl needs so many things to help it do anything. Thousand Arrows would be so good on it since gen5 they decided to cull EQ/Ground coverage from most starter's movepools. Victory Dance would also help both its forms to at least attempt an offensive role instead of relying on the massive amounts of setup(s) that go nowhere or Choiced shit.

Also a Grass STAB that doesn't suck dick would be nice too, Leaf Blade is too weak & Solar Blade is too situational, at least Poltergeist into Sneak is a great combo.

Rework Long Reach effect into free choice scarf, or make similiar effect like sucker punch for all its attacks.
Also remade protean ability into old effect after gen 9 changing types gimmick
