>>54695915Scarlet/Violet. Sword and Shield online matchmaking is basically dead, and if you didn't have the foresight to reach Master Rank in the final season before SV launched then actually winning enough battles to reach master rank from scratch is going to be almost impossible.
If you're already in Master Rank, you can try and find people willing to queue at the same time as you and hopefully throw the match, but it's not a guarantee that you'll be paired together, and sometimes it'll just refuse to match you up.
>>54695229>so anything that wasn't catchable as a shadow mon is disqualified.False, any mon from any generation can be a ribbon master, it just needs every ribbon that specific mon is capable of earning, not every ribbon ever made available.
>>54695284>>pick a mon you actually like if you aren't autistic about every single possible ribbon from every possible game even through the dex cuts because the pool grows smaller every gameBiggest thing I'd recommend in regards to ribbon master stuff: just go with a mon you actually like instead of forcing yourself to use something like Scyther or Ralts or Snorlax because you feel obligated to get the absolute maximum.
Even without taking dex cuts into consideration, you're already going to be missing out on the Jumbo/Teeny mark unless you get an absurdly lucky 1/8,000 blind roll when transferring into Home (and no Mightiest Mark unless they do another Mew style raid for your mon specifically), so having "absolutely every ribbon/mark possible" on a single pokemon is now an entirely unattainble goal anyway.
