>>54702054>Crobat>Great taste.Thank you. What’s cool about the Crobat is that I actually caught it as a Lv. 10 Golbat in the basement floor of Oreburgh Gate after only 1 badge. It’s a 5% encounter and not many people know about it, but it makes tough, early-game battles like Mars much more manageable.
>How’s using Lumineon?I’ve only had it for a short period of time, but to be honest I haven’t been too impressed with its performance. I wouldn’t call it the epitome of a generic water mon because it gets some cool stuff to play around with like Bounce & U-turn, but yeah it’s significantly weaker when compared to the rest of the squad. It can sweep after setting up a Rain Dance, but it just isn’t as practical as OHKOing everything with Lucario.
I intended for it to play a supporting role, because it gets access to moves like Safeguard and Captivate, but it pretty much just spams Surf and the occasional Ice Beam. However, it does still have strategies that it can employ to support the rest of the team. If it sets up Rain Dance, it cancels out Torterra & Lucario’s fire weakness, and it boosts the power of Lucario’s Water Pulse. What’s more, my future Electivire is going to have the Motor Drive ability, so I can just bait an electric move with Lumineon and then U-turn into Electivire. I think it’s gonna find its niche on the team eventually.
