Isnt emulation always much harder on a system than a game?
I can run games like Tekken 7 on high settings
Pokemon shouldnt be that hard, unless GAME FREAK freaks out the performance

I thought usually emulating takes less. And yeah, GF can't handle games running on Switch, I doubt they would optimize it well for PC.

It takes more than the actual original game did, but that's irrelevant. If your computer has been made in the last decade it is more than capable of running something as simple as an old Pokemon game.

Some of the best games were in the 2D era, you can run them fairly well emulating.
I also recommend the Orre games, and maybe the N64 ones as well.

I get what you mean but I grew up thinking like this and I cant go back anymore. I have some posters cause they were given to me as a gift and thats it. I am deathly afraid of comments from my family since they always told me how childish iw as being in the past.

People only like to shit on the breeding system but you don't have to bother with that to do anything other than PvP
And even then once you get the hang of it it isn't as bad as people make it sound to be

Other than that is just the same as the vanilla games just with better AI, and more difficulty

I can't imagine being so diehard into Pokemon that you just have to own or emulate the Switch games. The last good games were gen 5. Gen 6 and 7 were very lackluster and not that fun. The reality is that Pokemon is a "has been" game franchise and you need to move on with your life and find new things to enjoy.
