>>54739256Next, the steel type. A lot of steel type designs tend to either put the Eevee in armour (which I like, but a lot of people don't), or just make it out of sharp metal pieces and gears and shit without giving due regard to cuddleability. Far rarer but far more suitable a design concept, in my opinion, is the idea of modeling the steel type Eevee after one of those plastic robot dog toys (such as the Biocybie I had as a kid), and that's exactly what this design gives us to a T. Smooth, curved surfaces lacking lagged edges, appropriately grey but still appealing overall colour scheme, with the eye being naturally drawn to the best cuddle zones, excellent unique but not overbearing eyes, ears, and tail, and an adorable, super-glad to see you expression of exactly the sort you'd expect to see on an expressly-programmed robot companion (not that this Vee is one - they'd still retain the same freedom of will they had before, of course, and would actually still be warm, breathing flesh and blood underneath the metal exterior - but it further homages the design inspiration). It just works. It's simple, it's clean, it's beautiful, and it wouldn't look TOO out of place next to other Vees. It just feels like exactly what a steel type Vee should be, or at least I think so.
Cybereon is a commonly-suggested name for more futuristic-looking steel type Eevees, but I don't think that rolls off the tongue especially well. But what if we shortened it, to just Cybeon? Now THAT, I think, would work nicely. As I mentioned, you could get it by trading Eevee while it holds a Metal Coat, and I imagine it being very popular among trainers who adore Eevee (or cute fluffball 'mons in general), but are allergic. Statswise I see it having its 130, 110, and 90 in Attack, HP, and Speed, respectively. Essentially a fast Copperajah, like how Bristleon is a fast Cofagrigus. Again, please do let me know your thoughts and feedback.
