Rotom, while I think is still generally liked because it can do a bunch of cool things - definitely is disliked a lot more nowadays. Rotom-Phone, Rotom-dex, Rotom-car, Rotom-fucking-vibrator - it’s fucking overkill and they’ve honestly just errored so much of the goodwill that used to be attached to an admittedly pretty cool design that you could catch in a cool way.
I think Staraptor used to be a lot bigger too. I don’t have as clear a reason for it - it’s probably just overcrowding - but I feel like it’s definitely there. Actually, you know what? It’s definitely overcrowding, because the same thing has absolutely hit Pidgeot too.
Man I didn’t want to shit on gen 4, but just spending a minute thinking about it, it’s just where a lot of those mons come from. Maybe it’s just an attestant to how popular a lot of them were at their height.
