Looks close enough to me
https://youtu.be/2QELRXmQuTA?feature=shared&t=66>while there have been multiple points in this thread so far supporting the opposite.Okay, what about XY is well designed, then
>The dynamic music makes the game worse. Enjoying unique boss theme? Too bad have this shitty low HP loop instead. So you don't like Victory Lies Before You, every town theme with instruments you can add, all the routes that change instrumentation during the seasons, and the percussion that is added when you move because one implementation of one song is bad, got it. At least when I complain about the 3D models it's that a bunch of the idle animations look like shit (although there are a shit ton more Pokemon so maybe it's a similar percentage, not doing the math right now).

As for why BW is more well structured as a JRPG
>EXP scaling will keep the player in a more narrow level range than without, generally speaking, which makes the challenge very specific>Map design is overall solid, many major routes have multiple entrances allowing a reasonable amount of optional content during the main story (roughly on par with RB) as well as after it (roughly on par with DP)>Story beats generally move at a brisk pace, only changing the cadence for major events like the culmination of the Team Plasma plot which helps pay it off>Pokemon availability is general good, generally on par with RS when it comes to varietyIt's far from perfect (I posted how I'd change the progression up to the first gym in another thread and the Lucky Egg is unnecessary especially when you get it) but compared to XY which has like two good maps, pacing that doesn't pay itself off well, issues with balance when you interact with basically any mechanic, and a Pokemon pool that's arguably too big, I dunno it just doesn't add up to my tastes.
