>>54727940I'm 28 and I like these guys. I use them in the card games, they fill out fighting type decks nicely and their card art and effects are usually cool. Like the Judo one forces out the opponent or uses their weight (retreat cost) against them. They're able to shine more outside of the mainline games, where they're just fighting types that don't live up to their karate amd Judo styles.
I could imagine travelling with one. It'd make a good bodyguard. It looks like it has a fighters spirit, like it would join you on a quest for power.
They also make good jobbers if need be. Like, intimidating single stagers in the early game, but they kinda fall off without a dedicated trainer.
And to be fair, brown boxing man and brown kick boxing man exist.
Hitmonlee is my favorite.
