I still maintain the idea that 2 and ESEPECIALLY 3 are better Monster Catchers than not just the 3DS Pokemon entries, but literally every game in the franchise. They do way more with their premise than Pokemon's ever bothered to, had a fuckton of content, decent monster designs (though I acknowledge that the inundation of recolors is fucking lame), etc.
>>54739445Eh, cutting down on the number of Yo-Kai wasn't that bad in 4 because you could never transfer up to begin with and by 3 a fuckton of Yo-Kai were trapped behind obscure or obnoxious obtainment methods because the map literally wasn't big enough to hold them all.
