It is literally impossible to predict how a particular mythical will be used in the future, because there is no pattern. We can't even say "it'll be event-only" like we used to be able to. The only thing we can be sure of is that there will always be Mew distros.

Why not? It’s still a mythical, plus plat,bw2,and oras all feature form changes on the box, some of which are not obtainable current gen.
